Five Finalists Chosen!

We received nearly 100 submissions for the Big Idea Business Plan Contest. From that pool 15 semi-finalists were selected. As of February 2009, five finalists remained in the competition.

On March 5, these five were given the opportunity to work with Steve Bowman, also known as “The Pitch Doctor.” Bowman’s company, BizClarity, specializes in writing and coaching people who are making high-stakes business presentations to potential investors.

Final judging for the contest will be held in April 2009, with the winner announced at an Innovation Transfer Network event, co-sponsored by BFTP, on May 5, 2009.
